Mariama Deen Swaray: is a seasoned researcher with vast experience in data gathering, and synthesis and questionnaire design (qualitative and quantitative), data analysis and processing using Excel and SPSS. She is competent with managing & analyzing large sets of data as well as in writing technical reports. Mariama is skilled in data visualization, developing & implementing monitoring and evaluation plans, designing and conducting evaluations and analyzing and presenting data to inform decisions. She has led several research projects and is currently a Dalan senior researcher for the IDRC KIX supported research titled “A comparative study of Accelerated Education Programmes & Girls’ Focused Education Models in Ghana, Sierra Leone and Nigeria’ implemented by Associates for Change (AFC Ghana), Centre for the Studies of Economies (CSEA- Nigeria) and Dalan Development Consultants (Sierra Leone), with AFC as the lead. Mariama is a good team player with effective communication skills.
