Amara J. Ansumana: (BSc. Economics) is a seasoned Research Associate with a wealth of fieldwork experience gained from several local consultancy firms including Dalan Development Consultants, AH Consulting and The Khana Group (TKG). Currently, he serves as a Senior Research Associate at Dalan Development Consultants, where he is actively involved in collecting, supervising and coordinating fieldwork data across different sectors including environment, education and forestry. Most recently, Amara is supporting an environmental and social impact assessments project (ESIA) with Dalan Development Consultants desired to upgrade basic infrastructure with deprived and vulnerable urban communities for resilience against flooding, landslide and to improve basic social amenities like roads, WASH facilities and drainages.
With a strong foundation in economics and practical experience across environmental and social research, Amara brings analytical depth and field-based knowledge to development consulting.
