Managing DirectorFatu Yumkella

Fatu Yumkella has more than thirty-five years combined national and international experience in the fields of Population and Public Health. Fatu has extensive proven capability and experience in, Program Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Program Development, Social Science Research, Human Resources for Health (HRH), Training and Performance Improvement gained in Kenya, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda. Fatu has consulted for the Government of Sierra Leone, International and Local NGOs, UN Agencies as well as Multilateral agencies including the World Bank, UNICEF, and UNFPA during the past decade. Fatu has written a number of technical and scientific papers and is a member of International Organizations. Fatu served WHO Onchocerciasis Control Programme (OCP) and the African Programme for Onchocerciasis Control (APOC) in successive scientific committees over a decade (2003 – 2015).
Since taking the position as the Dalan Chief Executive in 2006, Fatu’s leadership and foresight places strong emphasis on the strengthened coordination capabilities to ensure senior associates as well as research associates collect data in an organized and meaningful manner. The commitment to excellent research leads to the generation of high quality products that lend themselves to programmatic recommendations and academic publications.

Finance Officer 1Lansana Jabati

Lansana Jabati is one of the longest serving full time staff at Dalan with over 9 years work experience in the Dalan finance department.He started his career as an Accounts Clerk at the Integrated Technical and Trade Service and then later joined Dalan Development Consultants as Finance Assistant in 2009, and since then he has progressed to the position of Finance officer -1. He is skilled in the use of ‘Quick Books’ a financial soft -ware package. Lansana holds as National Diploma in Business Studies from Milton Margi College of Education and Technology (MMCET), and also a Diploma in Accounting and Finance in Business from Cambridge International College United Kingdom. He is currently pursuing stage 2 of the Diploma course, through distance learning at the same institution. Lansana enjoys working with skilled and experience individuals and co-peers to achieve company vision and goals.

Finance Officer 2Abdulai Turay

Abdulai Turay- Joined Dalan in 2015. He started his career as a Finance Assistant with GTZ, moved on to a banking career with Guaranty Trust Bank SL LTD where he rose to the position of head of operations and then to Van Vliet Automotive Group SL ltd a subsidiary of Van Vliet Automotive Holland, as an accountant. He received his National Diploma in Accounting and Finance and pursing an ACCA in phases. Abdulai has skills and experience in Accounting and Finance and Banking. Abdulai is a member of the Association of Certified Charted Accountant, in Sierra Leone and United Kingdom respectively.

Business Development OfficerFatmata Barrie

Fatmata Barrie was hired in 2017 as a Project Coordinator. Currently she is the Business Development officer at Dalan. In this capacity, she works close with the Managing Director to assist with resource mobilization for new business. Her job involves, tracking new business opportunities, identifying suitable consultants and aligning curriculum vitae to match procurement needs. . In her earlier role as a Project Coordinator, Fatmata was deployed off site, to support the Regulatory Strengthening and Tariff Development Support Project for the Electricity and Water Regulation Commission (EWRC). She worked under the guidance of an international Agency, AARC Ltd (Ireland), to provide administrative and coordination support to the project. Fatmata also has experience in gathering data at field level.

Admin and HR CoordinatorMohamed J S Conteh

Mohamed J S Conteh, joined Dalan Consultants in 2012 as an Office Assistant and he has risen through the ranks to becoming the Logistic Coordinator and now holds the position of Admin and HR Coordinator. Mohamed has the important tasks to safe guard Dalan assets ensures smooth functioning of the office and also make sure Dalan staff core and Associates have the resources they need to get work done. Mohammed holds a diploma in Banking and Finance and is currently pursuing a Bsc. in the same field.

Admin and HR. AssistantAbigail Kamara

Abigail Kamara joined the Dalan Team in 2017. With her background of B.Sc. (Hons) Banking and Finance, she began her career at Dalan, as an intern in the Finance Department, and after seven months in this position, she was given the opportunity to expand her skills as an assistant in the Admin and HR department. In the new position, she is specifically responsible for human resource management, including staff welfare and maintaining an active Dalan associate data base. Abigail is a team player and a diligent worker.

Logistic CoordinatorAbdulai Kaikai

Mr. Abdulai Kaikai is a graduate from the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), University of Sierra Leone, where he got an Honours degree in Business Administration and currently working on a Masters level degree in Development Management from the same institution. He also has distant learning diploma’s in Modern Management Administration and Human Resource Management from Cambridge International College in the United Kingdom.. He has worked in the mining industry, government departments and non-governmental organisations, the area of logistics. He is currently employed as a Logistics Coordinator with our  Dalan Logistics business arm.

Logistic AssistantBockarie Sesay

Bockarie Sesay joined Dalan in 2016, first as a driver, and moved up to the position of senior driver.   He is currently the Logistics Assistant. In his current position Bockarie works closely with the Logistic Coordinator to ensure an efficient vehicle fleet, for timely response to Dalan transportation needs and demands. Bockarie is skillful in problem solving and in assisting his peers to make sure Dalan internal and external clients receive excellent transportation service.
